Joachim has a Bachelor of Theology from Melbourne College of Divinity, majoring in Pastoral Counselling and a Master of Counselling from the University of South Australia. He has pursued extensive training in the various clinical approaches. In his pursue for effective therapy, he has extensive training with Bill O’Hanlon, creator of the Solution Oriented and Inclusive Therapy approaches. In 2008, Bill endorsed Joachim as a trainer. He is also a Certified Gambling Addictions counsellor and was trained by Cloe Madanes, the Co-founder of Strategic Family Therapy. He is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and a Professional Certified Strategic Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Joachim has many years of counselling and hypnotherapy experiences.
He is currently the Director of a Social Service agency and provides clinical supervision and training.
