Frederick specialises in psychodynamic psychotherapy for adults on personal healing & growth, life-transition adjustment and stress & emotion regulation. He also offers relationship counselling, marriage preparation, and consultation on parenting matters. Prior to entering private practice, Frederick was Director of a Family Service Centre and was Head of Social Work and Counselling for a chain of special education schools. Currently, he provides consultation and training to social service agencies and supervises psychologists, social workers and counsellors. He also teaches at institutes of higher education and contributes to academic journals and international conferences in counselling and psychotherapy. Frederick is a Registered Psychologist and Counsellor in Singapore and Chartered Psychologist and Scientist in UK. He is a Fellow of American Psychotherapy Association and an Associate Fellow of British Psychological Society and the Institute of Mental Health, UK. His formal qualifications include Bachelor of Social Science, Master of Science and Master of Applied Psychology.
